South Shields FC is proud to host a very special evening of football in memory of Daryll Surtees, who sadly passed away in May, aged just 44.

Daryll was loved by so many, and this evening will bring together two teams made up of friends and people who knew him, with a few special guests and potentially some familiar faces joining them on the pitch.

This is about much more than football. It is an opportunity for Daryll’s family, friends and the wider community to come together, remember him and celebrate his life.

Supporters will still need to obtain a FREE online ticket in advance through our ticketing website.

Location

The ground is located at Shaftesbury Avenue, NE32 3UP, directly at the bottom of the industrial estate. Parking is very limited, and we do ask that our neighbours in the housing estate opposite the ground are respected during your visit. Please avoid parking inside the estate when possible.

The nearest car park in the area is located at Tesco, which sits at the top of the industrial estate.

Travel

If you are using public transport, the closest Metro station is Bede, which is a short walk from Wolf Competitions Stadium.

Disabled Access

Wheelchair users can be situated at the PRS Inclusion platform (terracing area), which provides an elevated view of the pitch, located in front of the Clubhouse, which is sheltered.
